nut-yogurt bread

Ingredients:


  • 4 eggs

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 250 g yogurt

  • 400 g ground nuts

  • 70 g whole wheat flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 20 g chopped almonds

  • 2 tablespoons light sesame or poppy seeds (for sprinkling)







Preparation:


1. Preheat oven to 160°C.


2. Mix eggs, oil, salt and yoghurt. Add nuts, flour, baking powder and 2 tablespoons of water and mix to form a dough. Fold in chopped almonds.


3. Pour the dough into a loaf pan lined with baking paper and cut into the surface. Brush the bread with water and sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds if desired.


4. Bake the bread in the oven (middle) for 1 hour 15 minutes. Then remove and let cool on a wire rack.
