Recipe of the month - Tropical Yogurt with fruits and cereals

These bowls from Israel inspired me to create a fresh and tropical breakfast – perfect for a quick start to the day!


preparation time

10 minutes



Ingredients (for 2 adults and 2 small children)


  • 500 g natural yogurt

  • 2 passion fruits or passion fruit

  • 5 tablespoons of muesli or cereal flakes of your choice

  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds

  • 2 tablespoons flaxseed

  • Optional: 1 tablespoon honey

  • Fruit of your choice (e.g. raspberries, grapes, currants, dried cranberries)

Option 1: Quick & easy
  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.

  2. Enjoy immediately!


Variant 2: For the Eye
  1. Pour the yoghurt into a bowl.

  2. Stir in the honey (if using).

  3. Sprinkle the chia seeds and flax seeds in the middle of the yoghurt.

  4. Spread the muesli or cereal flakes around the edge of the bowl.

  5. Cut the passion fruit and spoon the flesh over the yoghurt.

  6. Garnish the bowl with your favorite fruit.
