We wish you a wonderful day. Today is about beauty and yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some people think they need a lot to feel beautiful and some less. Some people place more value on external beauty and some on internal beauty. And then of course there is the beauty of a person's essence, where sympathy, humor, intelligence, for example, play a role. I also observe that beauty changes at different ages. Some people love themselves more and accept themselves as they are and others, for example, don't like getting older.
This text is about how you can eat to do something good for your skin, your hair, your teeth, but also about cosmetics. In other words, about natural body care. With this blog I want to inspire you and give you ideas for caring for yourself, perhaps with natural means:
Nutritional care for skin, hair
Fluids - Drink at least = (35ml x your body weight) water or herbal tea to freshen up your body and your hair . Try to avoid soft drinks, energy drinks and too much coffee during the day.
Soy isoflavone aglycone gives the skin more elasticity and reduces wrinkles. You can find it in soy products such as soybeans, soy milk or miso. Beans such as kidney beans or yellow split peas create the same effect.
Antioxidants such as vitamins A and E found in tomatoes, carrots and sunflower seeds , for example, help protect the skin from the sun .
Vitamin C helps the body develop collagen . A red pepper contains more than an orange. But kiwi and broccoli are also good for this task.
Omega-3 fatty acids from fatty fish or fish oil maintain the acid mantle of our skin and thus the skin remains supple.
You can find minerals such as calcium, magnesium, zinc and iron in walnuts. They give your hair more volume and shine.
There is a lot more, so remember the more balanced your diet, the more herbs and spices you include in your food, the healthier your skin and hair will look.
Care with natural cosmetics for skin, hair and teeth
How about a mask made from pureed pineapple and, if you like, strung? You can cut the rest up to size for consumption. Spread the puree on your face, avoiding the area around your eyes. Relax and let the mask work for 20 minutes. The alpha-hydroxy acids in the pineapple help the skin to detach itself from the upper layers of skin and renew itself.
Avocado mask for hair - Good antioxidants and fatty acids give your hair shine and structure. Add 1 teaspoon of olive oil to a ripe avocado, mash it and distribute the pack along the lengths of your hair. Leave the mask on for about 20 - 30 minutes and rinse your hair with a gentle shampoo.
Are natural foods too complicated for your skin care? Then look for alternatives and products that are good for your skin. I have been trying out natural cosmetics for about 10 years and I have tried out a lot of things. Especially when it comes to lotions, facial care, deodorant and dental care. I think I have tried all the brands in the organic shops. I have to admit that not everything suits my skin or my expectations. But I am very close to my goal. I have now found the finishing touches for my favorite skin care products at Ringana . They are 100% natural and they have also come up with a sustainable recycling system and only use recycled material.
Here I have put together my top 6 favourite products: tooth oil as a supplement to brushing your teeth, the body milk , the hydro serum for the face, the face cream , the shampoo and the sun protection for the face .
Well, hopefully you were able to take something away from this post and are considering replacing one or two products? Remember that by using a natural product or original food you are also doing the environment good. I wish you lots of relaxation with or without a mask and maybe even more time for mindfulness ;-).
Finally, a personal note
It's all about patience. The food and cosmetics industry uses a lot of buzzwords like "quick", "lose weight in 2 weeks", "immediate effect" and much more. We humans are losing the ability to be sustainable with ourselves and are less likely to accept that more effort or more time is needed for some things. I also see this impatience in nutritional advice. Natural products, healthy food and natural cosmetics also need time to work. If you manage to bring more and more nature into your internal and external care, your body will learn to take care of itself and regulate itself again. Or do you want to continue to only apply chemicals to your skin and ingest them? Can your body and your organs cope with this in the long term? Which type is more sustainable as you get older?
