Shopping for presents, baking cookies, strolling through the Christmas market: Advent is lovely, but also exhausting. Would you like a break? With these tips, you can easily have a spa day at home - and recover from the stressful Christmas period.
The ideal wellness day during the Christmas season
Simply letting yourself go and doing something good for yourself is a great luxury these days. But to make sure that works, it's best to think about your wellness escape in advance and prepare well: The apartment should be clean, the shopping done and the calendar empty.
Therefore, a holiday day or Sunday is an ideal day to relax.
Relaxed start to the day
Not particularly original, but all the more essential: sleep in! On your wellness day, you shouldn't be woken up by the alarm clock. Instead, just get up when you've had enough sleep. Continue with a healthy and wholesome breakfast. How about a warming porridge, Bircher muesli, natural yoghurt with fresh fruit or an omelette with spinach and feta? Add to that a super tasty golden milk, which provides plenty of anti-inflammatory ingredients and strengthens your immune system.
Breakfast provides enough energy for a small exercise program. However, you should not exercise on a full stomach straight away; instead, you should wait for about one to two hours. This is the perfect time for a gentle Pilates session or meditation. Take a look at our Pilates workout from December 1st and do something good for yourself and your body. Exercise in the fresh air Now it's time to get out into nature! Because the next item on the program is extensive exercise. You should spend at least an hour outside to get some fresh air and vitamin D. The exact form of exercise is up to each individual - after all, on a feel-good day you should only do what you feel like. Now would definitely be the right time for jogging or cycling. If you don't feel like exercising, just go for a long walk. The main thing is that you are in the fresh air.
beauty program in the afternoon
After a delicious lunch, which should be light and not difficult to digest, the afternoon is all about the body: a relaxing bath, hair treatment and face mask are on the agenda. A relaxing bath is a good basis. This relieves the joints, loosens the muscles and sharpens the senses. Before you start, a few feel-good rules should be observed. Candles and nice music create a cozy atmosphere. A warm bath towel then makes it easier to get out of the tub. The temperature in a relaxing bath should not be too high. A temperature between 36 and 38 degrees is ideal. A handful of sea salt and a few drops of lavender oil, which is known for its calming and skin-care effects, are also added to the tub. Alternatively, chamomile flowers can be used, which have an anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic effect.

Relaxed evening
Perfect ending After the extensive wellness program, it's time to get on the couch. How about a nice cup of tea? Chamomile, elderflower or tulsi have a calming effect. With a good book, exciting audio book or quiet music: this is how you can end your day of well-being in a relaxed manner.
We wish you a wonderful me-time-relax day!
All the best from
